Aesthetics and user-interaction redesign.
Ideation
We used “How might we…” questions to help generate ideas and iterate quickly.
Final Design
The front grill was split into three parts for each of the speakers: tweeter, midrange and sub-woofer.
An anthropomorphic design gives the speaker an approachable look, while the housing makes it feel robust and easy to carry.
The elements on the back panel were distributed by usage: most use at the top, less at the bottom.
Small icons were added next to the 3-way audio controllers as a visual aid.
